One 4 the Road - Backstage

One 4 the Road was the debut work for the late Leonard House Jr. as a playwright. An accomplished actor, Leonard wanted to tell the story of a southside neighborhood struggling to hold on to its history. The 2019 production was directed by Runako Jahi and featured veteran actors Donn Carl Harper, Tina Marie Wright, and Darren Jones who were joined by newcomer Omari Ferrel.

This backstage segment features commentary from the world premiere cast as they explore the play, the era, and the elements of production that brought them together.
